Special Weather Statement
Statement as of 3:01 PM MDT on September 02, 2010
... Areas of frost late tonight and early Friday morning over
the southeast Wyoming plains and the western Nebraska Panhandle...
Surface high pressure will move over southeast Wyoming and the
western Nebraska Panhandle late tonight and then over the
plains on Friday. The feature will help to produce light winds
and clear skies... allowing temperatures to fall to between 35
and 40 late tonight and early Friday morning.
With the chilly temperatures and light winds... areas of frost
can be expected especially in low lying and protected areas
late tonight and early Friday morning.
People with plants sensitive to the cold may want to move them
indoors or cover them for protection from the cold.
